Needing Help in the Face of Spiritual Discouragement
I’m a 50-year-old woman who has dedicated my life to serving in my church, but lately, I feel spiritually discouraged. The more I try to serve, the more I feel attacked by negativity and doubt. My energy is depleted, and I often question whether what I'm doing is making a difference. I’ve always found strength in my faith, but I’m feeling lost right now. Please pray for encouragement and strength. I need to remember my purpose and that God can use me even in this dark season.

Dear Linda, thank you for your heartfelt request. It’s completely understandable to feel spiritually drained, especially when you’ve invested so much into serving others. It’s important to remember that even Jesus felt weary at times, and He invites us to lean on Him. "Cast all your care upon him; for he careth for you" (1 Peter 5:7). Know that your service has not gone unnoticed by God. He sees your heart and your efforts, and He is using them for His glory, even if you can’t see it right now. Let's pray for renewed strength and perspective for you during this time. As you continue to seek Him, trust that He will guide you and restore your spirit. You are not alone in this journey.
