Seeking Strength to Overcome Spiritual Exhaustion
I’m a 45-year-old teacher, and I've been feeling spiritually drained and exhausted. With the demands of work and life weighing heavily on me, I often find it hard to connect with God in a meaningful way. I’ve tried to maintain my daily devotions, but my spirit feels so tired. It feels like each prayer takes a huge effort, and I fear I am losing my passion for Christ. I am asking for prayers for renewed strength and wisdom to remember that God is still with me despite my feelings of exhaustion.

Dear Michael, thank you for reaching out during this tough time. It’s completely normal to feel exhausted, especially when life’s pressures seem relentless. But remember, Jesus invites us to find rest in Him. "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). In these moments of fatigue, it’s essential to lean into His presence. The Lord promises to provide us with strength in our weakness, as stated in Isaiah 40:31: "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength." Take intentional time to rest in His love and let His Spirit rejuvenate you. Your passion can be rekindled through His grace. Let’s pray for restoration and renewed joy in your spiritual journey.
