Strengthening Faith While Leading a Group
As a young adult leading my first small group, I often feel like I’m in over my head. I’m overwhelmed by my responsibilities and struggle to connect with the material. I fear not being able to provide meaningful insights that my group can benefit from. My heart aches with the desire to inspire others in their faith, yet I find myself feeling less than adequate. I would appreciate prayers for clarity in my preparation and courage to share my own journey authentically. I need God's guidance to help me step beyond my comfort zone and trust that He can use my imperfections for His glory.

Dear Ethan, your willingness to lead reflects a heart open to God's calling. It’s natural to feel overwhelmed, but remember that 'they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength' (Isaiah 40:31). This is a journey of faith, and as you lean on Him, He will renew your spirit. Your vulnerability in sharing your journey is powerful; it allows others to see God’s work in progress within you. 'Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen' (Hebrews 11:1). Trust that God is using this experience to shape you into the leader He intends you to be.
