Praying for Patience in My Witnessing Journey
I have a colleague who often challenges my faith with his atheistic arguments. I find it hard to remain calm and patient, especially when he questions my beliefs in a dismissive way. I deeply desire for him to understand the truth of Christ, but I fear that my responses may push him further away. I pray for patience and compassion, asking God to help me respond with love instead of defensiveness. I seek a spirit of humility as I share my faith, trusting that God can soften his heart. Please pray that our interactions mirror God’s grace and love, and may my witness be a seed that leads him to seek the truth.

Dear Marcus, your desire to share your faith with love and patience reflects the heart of Christ. It’s understandable to feel challenged, but remember that we are called to be peacemakers (Matthew 5:9). Your colleague may challenge your beliefs, but your calm and loving demeanor can be a powerful witness. The Bible reminds us, "The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace..." (Galatians 5:22). By embodying these qualities, you can create an environment where genuine conversations can occur. God is patient with us, and He desires that none should perish (2 Peter 3:9). Keep praying for your colleague and trust in God’s plan for his life. Let’s pray together: Lord, grant Marcus the patience and wisdom to share his faith lovingly.
