Struggling to Keep My Art Alive Amid Bills
Hello, I’m Marcus, a 30-year-old graphic designer. I love what I do—creating visual art that tells stories. However, ever since the pandemic hit, my freelance work has dwindled, and I’ve been scraping by with odd jobs. I feel like I’m losing touch with my passion because all my energy goes into just paying the bills. I constantly worry about my financial future, and it’s hard to focus on my art when I’m stressed about money. I pray every day for direction and support but feel stuck. I’m reaching out for prayer that I can find stability in my work and a way to reignite my creativity without fear of financial despair.

Grief and Healing Ministry
Dear Marcus, thank you for reaching out and sharing your struggles with me. I hear the passion in your heart for your craft, and it’s tough when the demands of life overshadow that passion. Remember Matthew 6:33, which encourages us to 'But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.' As you strive to balance your finances and your artistry, prioritize seeking God’s kingdom in all you do. He promises to provide for our needs. Your creativity is a gift from God, and I believe He wants to use it for His purpose. Stay faithful to your calling, even in hard times, for God rewards those who are diligent (Matthew 25:21). As you continue to pray for direction, may you also be open to new opportunities that align with both your faith and your artistic talent. I will be praying for your needs and your journey ahead. Amen.
