Battling Anxiety from Medical Trauma
Hi, I’m Eliana, and I’m struggling deeply with anxiety after a traumatic medical experience. I underwent a procedure that left me feeling vulnerable and shaken. Now, even simple tasks make me feel anxious, and I constantly replay the trauma in my mind. I try to pray and read scripture, but my mind feels cluttered with fear. I ask for prayers to help me overcome this anxiety. I want to trust God completely and find peace again. Please pray that I can lean on His understanding and not my own.

Dear Eliana, your honesty about your struggle is a testament to your strength. It’s completely normal to feel anxiety after such a challenging experience. God understands our fears and is ready to wrap us in His loving arms. Remember that in John 14:27, Jesus tells us, 'Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you.' This peace is available to you, even in your turmoil. Additionally, as stated in 2 Timothy 1:7, God has not given you a spirit of fear, but one of power, love, and a sound mind. Allow His love to cast out that fear (1 John 4:18). Spend time seeking Him in prayer, and don't hesitate to lean on friends and family for support. Let us pray that God’s peace fills your heart and mind, bringing you comfort and healing. Amen.
